24” Chain is such a piece. The Sterling silver over lead-free pewter
pendant is completely reversible. With meticulous attention to detail,
this highly polished design features three clear CZs on one side
representing the crystal and glass of the original. The opposite side
remains true to the original shrine as well, showing an intricate
pattern of openwork. Antiquing defines all of the fabulous details.
This is a true “conversation piece” through which history and the
love of one’s culture can be shared. The original Shrine of St.
Patrick’s Bell was crafted in Armagh around 1100. It features gold
and silver filigree, and openwork with snakes, birds, and studs of
crystal and glass. The actual bell inside the Shrine is made of plain
iron, shaped like a cowbell. The Shrine and its bell are on display in
the National Museum located in Dublin. 1 5/16” pendant
